Question: How do I use student e-mail at NWTC?

Answer:

First Note: If you are at an NWTC campus or regional learning center, click here for directions to log into the network.

To access student e-mail:

  1. Open your Web browser and type in the address: https://web.mymail.nwtc.edu
  2. Enter your user name (your 8 digit student id):
  3. Enter your password. Your password is the first 2 letters of your first name (lower case) followed by your student id (see example above). Note: You may have already changed your password.
  4. Click login button.

Important It is important to logout of all accounts at the end of your session. Doing so ensures the safey of your personal information.

From the NWTC Mail Home Page, click on the Log Out link at the top of the page.

  1. What is my e-mail address?
    Your e-mail address is: firstname.lastname@mymail.nwtc.edu
  2. How do I change my password?
    Log into my.NWTC and go to Personal Portfolio. There is a link to change your password.
    Note: Changing your password changes ALL password. ie. network, my.NWTC, e-mail, and Blackboard.
  3. Where do I find my instructor's e-mail address?
    Look for the search window on your my.NWTC home page. Type in the last name in the Faculty/Staff field and click 'Go!'.
