Summer 2008 - Term 2085
Start/End Dates: 6/9/08-8/5/08
Open registration begins on April 15, 2008 until June 13, 2008 for classes with openings.

Fall 2008 - Term 2088
Start/End Dates: 8/18/08-12/15/08
Open registration begins on June 4, 2008 until August 29, 2008 for classes with openings.

Access to classes begins on the start date of your class. You can log in, but you will not have access to your classes until the start date.

Question: My instructor can't open my Word 2007 documents.

Answer:

Word 2007 saves files as a .docx file which earlier versions of Word cannot open. An Office Compatibility Pack can be downloaded to allow Office 2007 files to be opened or the save settings can be changed so your documents can be opened in earlier versions.

To change the Save Settings in Word 2007:

  1. click the Office button
  2. click Word Option
  3. open Save Options
  4. by "Save files in this format", click Word 97 - 2003
  5. click Ok

Your documents will now be saved as .doc files.
